Barley Station Brew Pub, Salmon Arm

Welcome to the Barley Station Brew Pub… come enjoy our fine food and some of the best beer found anywhere.

Our head brewer uses recipes created exclusively for us using the finest ingredients available. We start with water that has been purified by our in-house reverse osmosis system and then add the right amount of minerals specific to each style beer. This water is combined with the finest malted grain from Europe and North America.

The addition of hops chosen for their aroma and bitterness and the best yeast for each style of beer all mean that you can now enjoy a variety of tastes in beers that will tempt you to try them all. During the year we will introduce some very special limited edition beers that will be on tap for a short time only. Be sure to ask your server for these seasonal beers when available.

All of our beers are made in house using the best ingredients available. We don’t filter or add any preservatives to our beer. Our beer only has to travel 50 ft. to get to your table, so feel good about doing your part to save the world one beer at a time. Relax and Enjoy Our Beer! Happy Days Goat Dairy

Happy Days Goat Dairy

Happy Days Goat Dairies was founded in 1993 as a family business in Salmon Arm, BC. Due to  a consistent commitment to quality and customer care, we have grown to the largest supplier of fluid goat milk in Western Canada, and play an important role in  supplying retail stores and the food service industry with a variety of goat milk cheeses, goat milk yogurts, and goat milk ice cream.

We have 14 farmers under contract in BC and Alberta. We process all of our goat milk in 3 locations; Salmon Arm, BC (processing and office), Chilliwack, BC (processing and retail store), and Ponoka, AB, (custom processing). Processing the milk close to where it is produced, inhances the quality and helps the environment.

Our suppliers are committed and motivated farmers, taking good care of their animals and producing the highest quality milk, everyday. (see more info on the staff/producers page). All goats have a year round diet of hay and grains (about 10%). Customers often ask about antibiotics and growth hormones. We guarantee that all of our products are guaranteed free of antibiotics and growth hormones. Growth hormones are not even available for goats.

We process all milk with the utmost care and knowledge. All our three plants are CFIA inspected and approved. Goat milk is very sensitive, and careful processing practices are extremely important.
